Mechanic special
1600 OBO
2005 ford Taurus sedan
Around 138k miles last time I checked, was a daily driver until I got a van. Ac and heat work great, new battery put in a few months ago, great trunk space, pretty good mpg. Runs great but it shakes a bit due to needing an alignment. Tires are decent, check engine light on due to a sensor problem. Biggest problem with the car is the gas gauge. Occasionally the meter will say gas tank is empty even after you filled it and sometimes says "fuel comp err" I don't know what it means, but it's making 2 codes pop up for an o2 sensor and for 1 of the 2 cats in the car. I've been told by 3 different ppl that the cats most likely don't need to be replaced and it's something else setting off those codes. I just don't have the time to figure it out since I'm working on my van. Plus a pickle rick sunshade. I love this car, still do, but can't afford to keep insuring 2 cars, and my van needs a lot of work. Literally only getting rid of it because I wanted a bigger car.
