The cab and bed were removed from the frame in 2012 and a front clip from a 1968 C10 was added, along with a cowl induction hood. Additional custom bodywork was performed, including “Frenched” taillights, a welded tailgate, deleted vent windows and bumpers, and shaved badging, moldings, fuel filler, and mirrors. The frame was refinished in graphite silver metallic and black, while the body received a two-stage repaint in orange with a white roof, grille surround, and lower accents. The weatherstripping was replaced and a spray-on liner has been applied to the cargo area of the bed.
White-finished Detroit Steel wheels measuring 18″ up front and 20″ out back wear smooth center caps and Continental tires. Braking is handled by front discs with red finished calipers and rear drums. The truck is equipped with an aftermarket front sway bar and rides lower than stock on coil springs at all four corners with front drop spindles and rear lowering blocks.
The bucket seats have been reupholstered in brown leather with quilted tan inserts and the carpets were replaced following the installation of Dynamat sound deadening. Amenities include air conditioning, a vintage-style multimedia stereo with aftermarket speakers in the door panels, a center console with cupholders, and a Hurst shifter.
A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames black and orange instrumentation, including a 100-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer that shows 38k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was reportedly installed with an EZ-EFI kit with a standalone engine wiring harness.
