A refurbishment completed under prior ownership in 2012 reportedly included repainting the exterior in Daytona Yellow with black stripes and recovering the black vinyl roof. Features include chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, “Z/28” badging, dual side mirrors, a ZL2-style cowl induction hood, bumper integrated fog lights, and a dual-exit exhaust.
Silver-painted 15″ Rally wheels with polished trim rings and hub caps wear Goodyear Polyglas white-letter tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and a full-size spare tire is mounted in the trunk. The braking and suspension components were rebuilt as part of the refurbishment.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional amenities include woodgrain trim, a center console, a Hurst shifter, manually-operated windows, factory seat belts, and a factory AM radio. The carpet was reportedly replaced under current ownership, and the seller notes wear present on the center console trim.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an analog clock. Additional Sunpro gauges showing coolant temperature and oil pressure are mounted in a cluster in front of the shifter. The five-digit odometer indicates 52k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added by the seller.
The numbers-matching 302ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt in 2019 and features a forged steel crankshaft, domed aluminum pistons, a solid-lifter camshaft, and a single-four barrel carburetor.
Power is directed to the rear wheels through a four-speed Muncie M21 manual transmission and 12-bolt Positraction rear axle with 3.73:1 gearing.
