Positive experience Tutoring for reading and writing. Is your child falling behind or struggling with reading and writing in school?
Let me help. I use phonetic based learning methods. I Work with the child to find their strengths and interests. (Who likes reading boring stuff?!) Learning made fun is my motto, and that can be different for each individual. 1/2 hour sessions, because an hour becomes a “chore” when something is already a challenge to you.
My qualifications: Honors and straight A student in high school. AA in social work , with honors, College. Raised 4 daughters, all excelling in language arts. I was raised by a teacher, my brother is a teacher, and I’ve picked up tips from them. Many children learn best with different approaches and tailor to them. I love seeing children’s eyes light up when they “get it!”
I do NOT have the training to tutor those with learning disabilities.
Price: $25 per 1/2 hour session.
