Recessed light installed in any ceiling with attic or crawl space access is just $50.00 per remodel can fixture installed. If there is an existing switch in the room that controls an outlet or an existing fixture, its just $50.00 to run a new switched leg to the existing switch location and utilize the existing switch to control the new recessed light or lights. If a new switch is needed then it is just $75 to install a new switch in a new location. If we decide to install the new switch in the same location as existing, we can upgrade the box size to accomodate the extra switch for just $100.

If there is no attic or crawlspace in the desired recessed light location such as a living room with a master bedroom above, or a condo built between floors with a separate unit above, it is just $75 per light installed and then $75 per switched leg ran. If a new switch in a new location is needed, its only $100 to install a new switch. To upgrade an existing switch box in this situation its only $150 to upgrade.

If you have existing recessed fixtures that use the compact flourescent bulbs such as the 4 pin or 2 pin push in type, I can upgrade the fixture to accept the retrofit LED lights or the basic medium base standard bulb type for only $50 per light converted. This would be a smart upgrade to insure the LED upgrade project is complete in order to optimize the energy saving and illiminate the need to replace cfl bulbs every year.

If you are worried about drywall damage or repairs. you need not worry, I rarely ever cut any of your drywall other than the holes we are cutting for your new lights. I will then use those new recessed light holes as fishing and pulling stations to get your wires accross the ceiling with no excess cutting and therfore no excess cost or repairs. If I do need to cut in a last resort situation, the cuts will be strategically located and small. I will also repair and patch free of charge. I will not paint though.
