SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

As a Sales Representative you will
provide quotes and bid, on new construction, retail projects and insurance work
which all require personal visits and on-site inspections. You will be
accountable for providing high quality customer service and will be expected to
act decisively and work with a high degree of autonomy.

CORPORATE SERVICE OBJECTIVES

Assembles information on new,
transferred and ongoing projects of moderate to high complexity. Applies policy
and company guidelines to all projects.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience with floor Covering and
Design are definite assets

One or more years of sales and
service experience, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.

Demonstrated progressive sales
growth aptitude.

Demonstrate the ability to meet and
exceed monthly sales quotas.

Demonstrated success in opening new
accounts.

Demonstrated success in account
retention and development.

Excellent customer service and
presentation skills

Must have a valid Driver’s Licence

Will use own car

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency with Windows based
programs including Excel.

Ability to deal with people and
communicate effectively by telephone.

PERFORMANCE SKILLS

Learn the technical aspects of
Floorcovering.

Organization and planning ability.

Relations with others; be a team
player.

English language ability both spoken
and written.

Strong communication skills

Service oriented

Analytical with Problem solving
ability.

Decision making ability
