Mutuel Teller -Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler and surrounding areas

Compensation: $11.75 per hour PLUS tips

Turf Paradise, the only race horse track in Phoenix, is
currently hiring Mutuel Tellers to work at various sites in the valley. No prior experience is required…We will train
you.

Off Track Mutuel Tellers work in locations through-out the
state of Arizona. They are responsible for the selling and cashing of all
mutuel tickets for simulcast horse races. Also responsible for maintaining a
change bank, and for cashing and selling tickets. Must complete required
paperwork and balance bank at end of shift. Promotes positive public relations.
Stays informed of any promotions or event with accurate information to provide
to the patrons if asked. Responds to customer requests and complaints by
reporting same. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
* Must have a clean criminal background (no felony convictions)
* Must speak English
* Cash handling experience – must be able to balance the bank at the end of
shift (tellers are responsible for shortages)
* Good understanding of horse race betting desired
* Must have reliable transportation, and must be reliable to work as scheduled
