Kitchen Design
Specialist to join our design
center. This is a great opportunity for
someone with 20/20 design software
knowledge to build on your skills as a designer. You will be able to learn multiple cabinet
and vanity lines, and to work on projects with contractors as well as the
public.

Your duties will include but are not limited to: Learning
multiple lines of product from the high-end lines to the budget, to create
kitchens ranging from the basic functional kitchen to the ultimate gourmet.
Other responsibilities will include ordering the cabinets with a detailed
follow-through of delivery and pickup to projects completion, answering phones
and providing backup to the rest of the “Team”
during high volume periods. Hours Monday Through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm &
Saturday 9:00am through 3:00pm.

$14 to $16 per Hour Depending on Experience

Requirements:

A strong working knowledge of 20/20 Design Software

Excellent communication skills & Being a Team Player.

Attention to detail

Ability to interpret blue prints and contractor’s drawings.

Customer service skills to help with the selling of multiple lines of product.

Ability to understand multipliers and markup for buying and selling purposes.

General overview.

The kitchen design position is responsible for greeting
customers as they come into the design showroom. She/he will use her/his knowledge of kitchen
design and product knowledge to help the client choose the products that will
make their kitchen optimal. The ability
to ask detailed questions to get an exact idea of their budget, their taste in
cabinets and if they are truly interested or are just “shopping”. If a client is just “shopping” the designer
needs the ability to lead them to a certain point and then step away for the
client not to feel pressured and for the designer not to waste time. Throughout
the course of a day the designer will be expected to answer the phones if for
some reason the receptionist is not able to answer. All employees must return calls from clients
