Route Driver Full-time - $17

The Driver role requires driving to visit multiple customer locations throughout the day picking up full containers and delivering empty/clean supplies. The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties during the collection and transport of medical waste. This position involves route collection with a 26’ delivery truck, loading and unloading product tubs. Job duties include pushing/pulling wheeled containers and climbing in/out of cargo compartment. Drivers are to maintain professional and orderly appearance and paperwork, and the ability to operate a smart phone.
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience driving commercial motor vehicles, a 26’ box truck in a metropolitan setting is preferred
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Must have great customer service skills
• Required to pass a physical exam conducted by a licensed medical examiner at the approved medical facility. Must be able to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Physical demands include lifting, pulling, pushing and climbing
• Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, climbing, pulling and pushing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy carts
• Must be able to pass a background check, driving record, and drug screen
• Must have a valid driver’s license
