SISCO Portable Lux Meter

SISCO Lux Meter is a professional light measurement instrument designed to accurately measure illuminance levels in a wide range of applications, including workplace lighting, building inspections, environmental monitoring, photography, and laboratory testing. Illuminance meters are single-element detectors that measure the intensity of light falling upon a surface as perceived by the human eye. It is measured in units known as foot-candles (Fc) or lux (lx). To perform these measurements, technicians often use a SISCO Lux Meter to determine the amount of light reaching a surface and ensure compliance with lighting standards.

In addition to illuminance measurement, luminance meters are single-element detectors filtered to measure photometric brightness as perceived by the human eye. Luminance is measured in units known as candelas per square meter (Cd/m²) or Foot Lamberts (Fl). These instruments measure the brightness of light emitted or reflected from a surface. Similar to the SISCO Lux Meter series, modern light meters are generally lightweight, compact, and portable. Many models support software connectivity, allowing users to connect the device to a PC for remote control, data logging, and detailed analysis of measurement results.
