The Turbo model featured revised bumper covers, a fixed rear spoiler, and wider bodywork than the standard 993. This example is finished in Guards Red and equipped with headlight washers, integrated fog lights, a power sunroof, a rear window wiper and washer, and dual stainless-steel tailpipes. In 2018, Porsche of North Houston replaced the windshield.
18″ Turbo Twist wheels sourced from a 996 911 are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires and an alignment was performed in November 2021. Stopping power is provided by red-painted calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The front shock bumps and dust boots were replaced in November 2021.
The cabin features Cashmere Beige leather seating surfaces, a matching console, and a black leather dashboard. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, the Digital Sound Package, stainless steel sill guards, air conditioning, Porsche-branded floor mats, and an AM/FM cassette stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, an analog clock, and additional instrumentation. The six-digit odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 408 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine was removed and resealed in July 2017, and Porsche of North Houston replaced the charcoal canister in December 2020 and an oil service and inspection in November 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle, and the clutch master cylinder was replaced in July 2017. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
The Porsche Classic Technical Certificate was produced in December 2021 and indicates a numbers-matching engine and transaxle. The document also lists the factory colors, optional equipment, and a production completion date of June 20, 1995.
