High-throughput sequencing by whole genome or transcriptome amplification at single-cell level reveals the genetic structure and gene expression status of individual cells, reflecting intercellular heterogeneity. Single cell immune profiling is more suitable for solving a small number of special sample studies, heterogeneous population analysis, and the search for simultaneous or mutually exclusive genomic changes, which is limited by bulk analysis.
