Air/Ocean Export

Looking for an Air/Export representative for a client in the Los Angeles area. Prefer 3-4 yrs experience in export shipping.

 Preparation of
Documents (HAWB/MAWB/HBL/MBL, Consolidations)

 Experience in
handling Letter of credit shipments

 Experience working
on EDI Enterprise operational system.

 Filing of SED with
the ACE system.

 Updating system
with tracking information.

 Handling of
Dangerous Goods Shipments.

 Arranging cargo
Pick-ups & Deliveries.

 Daily logging of
incoming & outgoing shipments.

 Handling Key
Accounts including merchandise inspections.

 Communicate with
our warehouse on a daily basis.

 Customer service.

 Billing to
clients.

 Approval of vendor
invoices.

 Communication with
vendors / clients.


Communication with overseas offices.

Qualifications:

 High School /
College or Bachelor Degree preferred.

 3-5 years Freight
forwarding experience with focus on Air and Ocean export.


Detail Oriented and experience with MS Office is preferred

Skills:

 Great knowledge of
geography.

 Experience working
on EDI Enterprise operational system preferred.

 Knowledge and
experience with Windows based programs preferred.


