Looking for volunteers to come get wild with us to help injured and orphaned wildlife in the Tri Cities.
Ohlone Humane Society Wildlife Rehabilitation Center’s 27th year helping care for the many injured and orphaned native wildlife we will take in during the 2024 season.
The wildlife at our facility requires consistent care throughout the 7-month busy season between April to October. We ask for your commitment to volunteer one 3.5-hour shift on the same day and time each week, 3 times a month. We do understand that volunteers have vacations and other commitments, so we are flexible on shift scheduling.
We are open every day. Shifts are Monday to Sunday 9:00am to 12:30pm. Please note that shift times could change during the season to meet the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities include preparing species-specific meals for each patient, cleaning enclosures, laundry, dishes and some light gardening. -Apply online at https://ohlonehumanesociety.org/volunteer/
Note: Our online application states you need to be a resident of Fremont, Newark, or Union City. That is not the case when applying for volunteer service at the wildlife center. You can be a resident of any city in the Bay Area to apply.
Requirements

-Commit to at least one 3.5-hour shift on the same day and time each week, 3 times a month on the same day of the week.
