Tea Server

Tea Server Position

We
are seeking part-time tea server for our tea shop to provide afternoon tea
service, prepare high-quality tea beverages, maintain and sell our products,
and create an engaging experience for our guests. We are currently hiring for
all shifts. There may also be the possibility of cross work to assist with our
with children’s parties and events.

Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:

• Hospitably greet, serve food and beverages to
  guests making recommendations if needed


• Share your menu and tea knowledge to assist
  guests with questions and special requests


• Prepare station for readiness
  prior to opening and closing of each shift. Keeping the
  areas tidy and clean including table clearing, removing dirties and waste


• Present a clean and professional appearance at
  all times


• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous
  demeanor at all times


• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to
  guest inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude


• Wash china and dishware


• Present tea time to tea party guests


• Assist with children’s tea parties and events
  when needed


• Assist with preparation of tea parties and tea
  time events


• Taking payments from guests

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of tea and tea
  service experience preferred


• Ability to use POS system
  and computer


• Ability to follow
  instructions and meet high performance standards with minimal supervision


• Flexible availability (days,
  nights, weekends)


• Regular and reliable
  attendance


• Polite, professional,
  mature, sincere and proactive attitude, energetic, attentive, enthusiastic and responsible.


• Must be able to work weekdays and weekends.


• Enthusiasm
  for engagement with guests


• Ability
  to work independently as well as cooperatively in a group, good interpersonal
  and communication skills


• Ability
  to remain calm in a sometimes fast-paced environment


• Flexibility
  and adaptability to changing situations


• Detail

will be the face of our tea shop and an important member of a small team. The job requires careful attention to detail
at all times, and each team member plays an important role in creating a
welcoming, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Our guests should feel the same warm welcome they would feel as a guest
in our own home.
Attention to every detail is of utmost importance.
