Preschool Teacher for a Catholic School

Position Description:

Holy Family Preschool is currently looking to hire a passionate, full-time Preschool/Pre-K teacher for the 2018-19 school year. We are looking for a candidate to be one of the lead teachers and implement developmentally appropriate material for ages 3 to 5 year olds. The candidate must be nurturing, patient, organized, enthusiastic, and a team player. The hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This is a 10-month position with benefits.

Requirements:

–Follow the mission and vision of Holy Family School

– 2 years teaching experience in the classroom

– 15 Early Childhood Education units (minimum) including the core classes:

– Child, Family, and Community

– Child/Human Growth and Development

– Programs / Curriculum

– Able to plan weekly lessons and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum

– Supervise children inside / outside the classroom

– Communicate professionally with preschool staff and parents

– Solid interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment

– Use Apple Computer for communicating with parents and faculty

– CPR and First Aid training

– Must be able to lift 40 pounds

– The candidate will be working under the supervision of the preschool director
