Handi Move (SureHands) Mobile 5001 patient lift

The SureHands 5100 Mobile Lifter is a powered transfer lift designed for use by individuals with mobility, severe physical, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This lifter has a long boom arm and tall mast, providing a large lifting range with room for a caregiver or personal assistant to maneuver in and around the boom arm and base. The lifter is constructed from aluminum alloy. In addition to lifting, it can also be used to ambulate many adults with body support or a walking harness. It has a low wheelbase requiring four inches of clearance under bed or bath. Safety features include a mechanical emergency down, which allows the user to manually rotate the actuator spindle if power fails, and an anti-entrapment device located on the bottom of the actuator, which prevents the boom arm from lowering beyond a point where it meets abnormal resistance. OPTIONS: Battery read out indicator. POWER: Uses rechargeable batteries (8 hour charge for intensive use). DIMENSIONS: The base is adjustable from 24.8 to 46 inches long.
The body support works on a hinge system that is activated by the body weight of the user in the thigh supports thus causing the soft chest supports to automatically embrace and secure the upper body. It self-adjusts to an individual's body profile making it suitable for both children and adults. It is possible to change the body support to a spreader bar with a sling and vice versa.
Best lift out there. It can pick people off the floor, bed, tub, toilet etc. The lift places the patient in a very upright position in a wheelchair and you do not sing on a sling all day.
