Gas Fitter I/HVAC Technician

Responsibilities:

Install new heating, ventilation, and
air conditioning systems

·
Inspect and perform equipment repairs
and replacements

·
Perform routine preventative maintenance

·
Respond to emergency maintenance
requests

·
Adhere to all safety policies and
procedures

Qualifications:

·
Previous experience in HVAC, as a Gas
Fitter, or other related fields

·
Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams

·
Knowledge of GEO Thermal would be an
asset

·
Ability to handle physical workload

·
Strong problem solving, critical
thinking skills

·
Ability to work independently

·
A positive attitude when working with
the public

·
Experience completing paperwork,
including service work orders, warranty and quotes and time sheets

·
Strong work ethic and desire to go
above and beyond

Gas Fitter 1 License

·
HVAC or 3rd or 4th yr apprentice

Valid Driver's License

·
Experience: Troubleshooting: 5
years/Installation: 5 years

Port Hope and surrounding areas with ability to travel out of area as required

Licence:

Class B Gas Fitter

Valid G Drivers' License with a clean
abstract
