AUTO HOIST TECHNICIAN

Position Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for mechanical repair, troubleshooting, inspection and installation of automotive lifting equipment and hydraulic systems. .
Responsibilities and Duties
· Maintaining, and servicing customer's automotive lifting equipment
· Detect, troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults, irregularities and malfunctions and adjust, repair or replace defective parts
· Perform routine maintenance work on hoists and other lifting devices, electrical, electronic controls, electrification systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
· Installation of automotive equipment including hoists (in-ground and above ground), and other equipment (reels, piping, etc).
· Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
· Perform automotive lift/hoists, and other shop equipment service, repairs, and installations
· Accurately complete daily paperwork such as work orders and inspection reports.
· Display a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goals.
· Preserve maintenance reports and documentation.
· Maintain a neat and tidy service vehicle and work area, equipment and tools.
· Follow all safety guidelines.
· Build and maintain relationships with clients.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Ability to build relationships with customers. Strong customer service is essential to our business.
· Willing to work in different environments
· Hoist and hydraulics experience is an asset
Physical requirements
· Regularly lifting equipment (ie: reels, lifts, etc)
· Must be comfortable with working at elevated heights in a physically demanding and noisy environment.
