1953 Dodge M-43 ambulance - $4500

M-43 Ambulance from sale.

Due to health problems and no time to deal with this
restoration, I am selling this M-43 ambulance that I acquired several years
ago.

It has an Idaho title as a 1953, however it does have the
spare tire on the door.

When I acquired the truck, a previous owner had transplanted
what looks like a 235 CID Chevrolet engine and matching transmission. I was told that it did run. I had started to rewire the engine, so I
have not run the truck while in my possession.

The ambulance is fairly complete. A couple of rust spots on the passenger side
box.

I do have a decent engine hood, off of another M-37.

Three of the four pieces of glass are cracked.

Both seats are there with the springs.

All lower and upper stretcher pads are in good condition in
vinyl.

I do have both rear lights, both a surgical lamp and the
small lamp.

The rear step is there and in decent condition.

Locking hubs, tires are up, but in poor condition.

Asking price $4,500.00

The ambulance is in interior storage, and I am willing to
sit on the vehicle until the weather is more accommodating.
