2006 XLR Cadillac

The XLR was Cadillac’s concept car, a two seat luxury sport roadster based on the Chevrolet Corvette, but with a unique body, interior, and many exclusive features. Built at the corvette plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky on a corvette frame but with a metal body, they introduced many features that are now found on today cars. A retractable hardtop convertible body, with key-less entry, key-less ignition, power windows, power locks, power steering, dual front and side airbags, cruise control with adaptive spacing, head-up display, 7” screen with touch control, GPS, voice control, nine-speaker Bose sound system with six-disc in-dash CD changer premium stereo with XM radio, cruise control with rear park assist, even headlight washers!

Cadillac produced 3200 in 2006. This 2006 car’s sticker price was $77,295. Northstar 4.6L V8 VVT engine with rear wheel drive and a Hydra-Matic 5L50-E five-speed automatic transmission with a console shifter that allows you to select between auto and manual shifting. Vented four-wheel disc brake package w/ABS. Beautiful Infrared exterior with two tone shale/ebony interior. Bucket power seats with heat and cooling and eucalyptus wood trim. I added “Magnaflow” exhaust to provide a performance sound.
I purchased the car from Celebrity Auto in Florida in 2016. Car has been stored in a garage on Maui since then. The mileage is 27,750. The VIN: 1G6YV36A865601743.
