1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster E-type. Classic Restoration also made some mechanical adjustments and overhauled the carburetors. Engine, transmission, and differential fluids were flushed, gas pedal and choke linkages adjusted, and general sorting was handled for improved drivability. Series 2 cars still used the 4.2-liter engine but had dual carbs instead of the previous triple-carb setup. The car received a new interior, soft top, and boot along with a mechanical freshening detailed below. These Series 2 cars were the last of the XK-engined E-types, and offered more safety features and improved engine cooling compared to the earlier cars. This one is said to run beautifully with no needs and offers a comfortable driving experience with power steering, fully independent suspension, and Dunlop disc brakes.
