The car was reportedly repainted in its current shade of Scorch Red (R6) as part of the 2018 body-off refurbishment and features a dual-exit exhaust with polished finishers, quadruple headlights, “Road Runner” badging, and vent windows. Chrome trim adorns the front and rear bumpers, side mirrors, grille, and window surrounds.
The 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels are mounted with 70-section Coker Firestone redline tires. A Firm Feel power steering box is installed, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. A spare tire is stored in the trunk.
The front bucket and rear bench seats are upholstered in white and complimented by matching door panels along with a black dashboard and carpets. Amenities include a center console, glovebox, manually-operated windows, lap belts for all occupants, Road Runner cartoon and “Beep, Beep” embroidered floor mats, a Hurst shifter, a remote-adjustable driver’s side mirror, and a push-button AM radio. The passenger side door latch is said to have been repaired under current ownership due to cracking, and the seller notes there are scratches on the lower sections of the door panels.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-horizontal speedometer and auxiliary gauges. Additional auxiliary gauges have been mounted in a cluster beneath the dash and indicate coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage.
