The car was refinished in black during current ownership. Features include a black vinyl roof, Astro-ventilation side glass, 1967 Rally Sport bright metal trim and parking lamps, concealed electric headlamps and wipers, and bumper guards as well as front and rear spoilers, tinted windows, digital taillamps, and a custom hood with a Stinger-style scoop and white stripe. The seller notes that the right fender, quarter panels, outer wheelhouses, floor pans, and trim were replaced during the refurbishment.
The staggered 15″ Rallye wheels wear flat hubcaps and chrome trim rings and are mounted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR tires measuring 26×8″ up front and 26×12″ out back. The front suspension was modified with Speedtech Chicane components and a power rack and pinion with a heavy-duty sway bar. The rear features mini tubs, a triangulated four-link suspension, a Panhard bar, custom full-frame style connectors, and QA1 adjustable coilovers at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by a Hydroboost power brake system in conjunction with a corvette master cylinder and four-wheel drilled discs.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in white vinyl with houndstooth inserts. Equipment includes a push-button start system, reverse camera, an electric trunk release, Vintage Air climate control, and a custom audio system with a Bluetooth Alpine touchscreen as well as a Lokar shifter, power windows and door locks, and a voltmeter with phone charging ports. A concealed access panel has been fitted in the trunk to access the fuel tank and pump.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine is said to be rated at 480 horsepower and is fitted with a Holley Sniper high-rise intake manifold and CPP engine mounts as well as stainless steel headers, March front serpentive drive, and custom Chevrolet-script ignition coil covers. The engine control system is mounted in the glovebox. The engine bay features a smoothed firewall, Billet Specialties fender support braces, and hidden wiring and air conditioning plumbing as well as an aluminum radiator with electric fans. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed 4L80E automatic transmission and a narrowed 12-bolt rear axle with a 4.10:1 Positraction differential. A Fast Shaft driveshaft and custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and Moser big bearing axles have been fitted. The transmission is electronically controlled with a TCM2800 computer.
