Originally finished in Wimbledon White, the car was painted its current shade of orange during previous ownership. The seller notes that the spare tire well was shortened, the windshield replaced, and the bumpers re-chromed. Features include black pinstripes, a chrome roof rack, dual side mirrors, a two-speed Newport Engineering wiper motor, and aftermarket window tint.
Staggered-width 17″ Wheel Vintique wheels are finished in black with polished hubcaps and are wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires sized 235/45 up front and 245/45 in back. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with stainless steel-braided lines, and the car has reportedly been fitted with Global West tubular front control arms, height-adjustable coilovers, and subframe braces, along with a front sway bar, rear air shocks, and a Flaming River rack and pinion steering kit.
The bench seats have reportedly been fitted with replacement foam padding and upholstered in vinyl with patterned inserts. Equipment includes an under-dash air conditioning and heater unit, a multimedia stereo, a power rear window, aftermarket cupholders, a fire extinguisher housed in the rear cargo area, and a tilting steering column. A battery cutoff switch is mounted below the dashboard along with engine fan, fuel pump, and light switches.
A three-spoke steering wheel sourced from a Corvette and fitted with a Ford-logo horn button frames an instrument bezel from a Ford Mustang housing Stewart Warner instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates around 600 miles, while approximately 2,500 miles have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
Originally equipped with a 260ci V8, the car was fitted with a 5.0-liter V8 and four-speed automatic transmission reportedly sourced from a 1994 Ford Mustang during prior ownership around 2012. The engine is said to have been installed using a Painless wiring kit and harness and has been modified with long-tube headers, a custom dual exhaust system with Spintech mufflers, a conical air filter, an aluminum radiator, and an upgraded engine computer. An oil leak from the rear of the engine is noted to be present.
