The car was finished in Sultana White (M) from the factory and underwent a multi-year refurbishment including a repaint, replating of the brightwork, and replacement of the headlight lenses and brand scripts. Features include chrome bumpers and grille, full-length body-side moldings, exterior mirrors on both sides of the car, and dual tailpipes.
Bright Mercury-branded covers and trim rings are mounted on black 15″ steel wheels fitted with 225/70 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires. A 14″ Goodyear spare is located in the trunk. The suspension and the brakes are said to have been overhauled during the refurbishment.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in blue vinyl with darker blue accents as well as a matching padded dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Additional features include a push-button AM radio, an analog clock, a locking glovebox, a heater, floor mats, bright trim across the dash, and a floor-mounted shifter. The front seats are said to have been reupholstered and the carpets replaced during the refurbishment.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer plus gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An 8k-rpm tachometer is mounted to the steering column. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The rebuilt 390ci V8 is equipped with Ford 406 cast-iron headers and was factory rated at 300 horsepower. An oil change was performed in 2020, and the seller notes a leak from the power-steering control valve.
A rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission directs power to the rear wheels.
