Ceiling Fan Installation Expert

My service is straight forward and simple.:

-Assembly and installation of any new fan with or without remote module in a ceiling with no existing electrical circuit is $160.00 per/fan

(if the desired fan location does not have attic access such as a living room below a master bedroom, or a room with a vaulted ceiling, more work is involved in order bring power to the install point and/or bring power from an existing or newly installed switch box to the fan box, this will be discussed in the pre-installation phase and we will discuss various options or recommendations for the best installation possible)

-Assembly and installation of any new fan with or without remote module in a ceiling with existing circuit is $80.00 per/fan

-If there is an old ceiling fan that you want to take down and replace with a new ceiling fan, I will take down your old FREE, and install the new fan for the basic $80.00. However, if you want to have the old fan installed in another location in your home, these are the prices:

-Installation or relocation of used fan with or without remote control module in a ceiling with no existing electrical is $120 per/fan

-Installation or relocation of used fan with or without remote control module in a ceiling with existing circuit is $50.00 per/fan

Here are some additional Ceiling Fan Options.

-Installation of a single wall switch to power fan of/on is $50.00 per/switch location. ( KEEP IN MIND: THIS SINGLE SWITCH OPTION CONTROLS POWER FOR THE FAN AND THE FAN LIGHT. YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THE TUG CHAINS TO SELECT FAN SPEEDS AND FAN LIGHT OR HAVE A WIRELESS REMOTE MODULE INSTALLED.. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SELECT FROM THE WALL SWITCH THE INDIVIDUAL FAN OR FAN LIGHT CONTROL. ALSO, INSTALLING A WALL DIMMER WILL NOT WORK BUT SOME FAN REMOTE MODULES MAY HAVE A LIGHT DIMMER OPTION.)

-Installation of a double wall switch to power fan and power fan light individually is $100. (KEEP IN MIND: THIS DOUBLE SWITCH OPTION WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH ANY FAN REMOTE CONTROL MODULES. THIS TYPE OF INSTALLATION IS IDEAL FOR EASY FAN AND FAN LIGHT CONTROL. THIS INSTALLATION IS DIMMER FRIENDLY!)

(NOTE: If the desired switch location does not have attic access above wall such as a most downstairs walls, more work is involved in order bring power to the install point and/or bring power from an existing or newly installed switch box to the fan box, this will be discussed in the pre-installation phase and we will discuss various options or recommendations for the best installation possible)

-Fan stems are necessary typically for ceilings that are higher than 8ft and for vaulted ceilings. Most fans include an optional 4 or 6 in stem option. Longer lengths are available at The Home Depot up to 4 ft. Keep in mind that custom lengths can be achieved using a metal saw blade if a more custom exact measure is desired.

-Ceiling medallions are an option available for a more decorated fancy look, or for fan or light installations where the fan or light canopy or base is smaller than the hole in the ceiling and attic or wall interior will be exposed around the circumference of the fixture above. The medallion will cover any unsightly ceiling area in the installation location. They are available in various sizes from 10 in to as big as 4 ft diameters.

Necessary Materials:

-All fans will require the correct fan box or fan brace to be used in order to support the weight and movement of the fan. Depending on the exact desired location of your fan installation, will determine what type of box or brace is necessary. I will provide the necessary box or brace and charge accordingly.

-If your desired location is right on a beam or stud, a fan brace will not be necessary because the beam or stud will be sufficient to support the fan. ($5.00 for correct pan cake box) If your desired location is a spot not on a beam or joist then a fan brace is necessary. ($15 to $20 for correct fan brace bracket)

Optional Materials: -Materials used in a new single switch installation is $15.00 (single remodel box, single pole switch, cover plate, 14-2 romex wire average 15ft) -Materials used in a new double switch installation is $25.00 (double remodel box, two single pole switches, double cover plate, 14-2 or 14-3 romex wire or wires)
