Hello All,
If your in need of any repairs, remodeling, maintenance or general fixing up in or around your home, I am your man. Most all my life I have been working with my hamds and growing my skills and knowledge base one job at a time. Having had some great opportunities to work with some extremely skilled and knowledgeable men. Typically, while doing a lot of practicing and perfecting of new skills on my own home (and some family). There is a great deal of reading and research involved as well and I feel I will never stop doing so, if your not learning, your dying; something i believe and you may hear me say from time to time. I will never agree to a job for my client if I am not 100% confident completing it in a quality, timely, professional, and most importantly affordably mannor. In most cases my quotes fall between 35-60% the going rate in our area from the "big" guys. I do this by keeping my overhead low and not growing too large, while still maintaining full liabilty insurance coverage on myself and my business. I feel word of mouth is by far the best form of advertising and I am thankful to say, that the time of no longer needing to do so is drawing near. Treating each job and each client with the utmost respect and professionalism, paying special attention to communication, ensuring myself and client are always on same page goes a long way. This style of doing business has allowed steady growth and very high client retention, repeat business and referrals.
Flooring wise, I can install wood or vinyl lamimate, hardwood (such as bamboo which has become very popular) and tile. All flooring work will be subject to the condition of subfloor or the floor being gone over. However, when it comes to tile work, the subfloor strength and condition is vitaly important and requires a bit more attention. Most lamimates can be installed at 2$/sqft., including the removal and install of trim work and transition seams between different floor types (something most who claim to charge 2$/ neglect to mention is an extra charge, even doorways and alcoves where extra cuts are required and it is typically quite pricy and can almost double the cost per foot). Tiling kitchen backsplashes has also become a specialty of mine. New tub surrounds, vanities and toilets, all of these home improvents only add to your homes value. Painting interior walls and trim, sprucing up your exterior with paint or doing some deck repair/reconditioning is also something I would be happy to discuss and quote for you.
In addition, I am very handy with plumbing jobs, from new hot water tank installs with sweating pipes, to general fixture installs and repairs of all sorts. Electrically, I can do, but am not limited to, wiring new fans, fixtures, running new lines to add an outlet, switch, or light fixture.
HVAC, stove, fridge, washer and other appliance servicing, diagnosing and repair can also be discussed. Dont throw those machines out and buy new when the average repair is 100$ or less, and often closer to 60$.
