Music Director

1st Presbyterian Church Mocksville NC is seeking a music director. Position is responsible for the choir and handbell choir, oversees the work of the organist/keyboard accompanist. All direction, rehearsing and selection of music is done or supervised by this position. Requires excellent piano playing and directing skills. Knowledge of basic music theory, including simple transpositions and harmonizing in a melody.
This is a salaried, part time position with paid vacation. Salary is to be negotiated based upon experience, abilities, education and church budget. Funds in the budget for professional development.
