We are a small organization that is trying to rid the world of nuclear weapons. We have about 1,000 donors and are going to use a new version of Income Manager for which we will train you. We would like at least 5 years experience handling full cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks for Windows desktop. Duties include:
- GST Return - Charity Return, - Preparation for audit/review,
Minimum 5 years of working independently
Must be proficient with Excel to generate financial statements, budgets, cash flows, etc. Experience with membership / charity receipting software such as Income Manager (Advanced Systems International) is also highly desirable.
Our office that receives mail and phone calls is in Ottawa, but we deal mostly over the internet but print and mail cheques, and mail out our "Turning Point" magazine to all of Canada. Thus, the posting doesn't have to be in Ottawa although that would be preferred. Our current President is in Toronto, our President elect is in Victoria, and I as treasurer am in Sudbury.
Pay is to be discussed based on experience and qualifications. Our current excellent book keeper is retiring.
