JOB TYPE: Direct Hire

SALARY: Very Competitive (dependent on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief. Must have experience with transit/total station and survey grade GPS as well as experience electrical utility distribution design. This position requires weekly travel and hotel stays throughout Texas 3 to 4 times a week. Must possess leadership qualities and natural ability to interact and get along well with others.

RELOCATE (Midland/Stanton/Odessa/Andrews/Big Spring)

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

§ Experience in basic surveying skills with a transit/total station and survey-grade GPS equipment

§ Electrical Utility Distribution Design experience (Will consider oil
& gas, pipeline, civil surveying, or land development experience)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE (OPTIONAL – BE WILLING TO LEARN):

• A two-year technical certificate or degree is preferred but not required.
  


• Experience with utility Geographical Information Systems (GIS); GE SmallWorld, ArcFM, etc. preferred
  


• Experience in working with design teams, and self-motivated to perform assigned tasks.
  


• Experience in utility standards and general construction knowledge and aptitude is a plus
  


• MUST BE LOCAL TO THE AREA
