RESTAURANT & COCTAIL BAR - Require Chef/Cook with 5 years or more of
Experience. Full time employment 35/44 hours per week. No education
necessary. Wages: $15.00 to $24.00 - Fast-paced environment; Work under
pressure; Tight deadlines; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods; Work Site Environment: Odours, Hot,
Non-smoking . Must be a team player, Flexibility, Dependability,
Organized, Effective interpersonal skills, Initiative, Reliability .
Additional Skills: Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods,
Requisition food and kitchen supplies, Prepare and cook food on a
regular basis, or for special guests or functions, Train staff in
preparation, cooking and handling of food, Prepare dishes for customers
with food allergies or intolerance. Cuisine Specialties: Canadian,
Italian cuisine, European, Vegetarian, Brazilian, Spanish, Portuguese,
Gluten-free . Food Specialties: Meat, poultry and game, Eggs and dairy,
Vegetables, fruits, nuts and mushrooms, Stocks, soups and sauces, Fish and seafood. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff . Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, Create new recipes, Create new recipes, Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
