3rd Shift Weekend Driver (Raleigh/Durham)

If you’d like to become part of an exciting, fast-paced organization, ELWTL is the company for you! We are looking for weekend help to work 3rd shift Friday and Saturday nights. Compensation is $70-$120 a night depending on route with weekly pay.
At ELWTL, the Box Truck Driver is responsible for providing efficient delivery and excellent service. This position does not require a CDL but it requires a current medical card. The Box Truck Driver is a hardworking team member who delivers materials and goods to various job sites, inspects and maintains trucks, reports shortages and claims to their supervisor, and assists in the loading and storing of materials.
Major Responsibilities:
Checks orders for accuracy.
Organizes and secures load.
Obtains approval on all loads from site supervisor for proper count and conditions of load.
Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in trucks and parking lot.
Delivers and unloads materials to customer's satisfaction.
Follows guidelines from supervisor.
Completes daily equipment inspection.
Records all merchandise that is returned by truck.
Required Skills
Minimum education required: High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
Special skills required: Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions, use of cell phone and complete forms.
Communicate with customers, other associates and supervisors using verbal and written skills. Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
Other: Clean driving record and current operator’s license.
Must be able to adjust to change for routes are only about 85% the same.
Required Experience
Minimum experience required: 2 years experience driving trucks, prefer lumber dumping experience.
Must be able to pass background and Drug screening
Must have clean driving record
