Yamaha Timpani Ad
For sale - set of four Yamaha 7200 timpani (32” 29” 26” 24”) in very good condition, PLUS a 20” Ludwig Professional Model Piccolo timp.
Price: $14,000 (negotiable)
-The 7200 bowls are freely suspended and hand-hammered. The tuning gauges are cable-linked to the pedals,
which also feature Yamaha’s Pedal Adjustment Clutch system, allowing the player to personalize each pedal’s resistance with a tuning key. The 24” drum features eight tuning rods for easier head clearing/fine tuning than a 23”. They come with hazy-based Remo Renaissance heads with life still left in them, and the drums include drop covers. Purchased for the Utah Symphony in 2008.
-The Ludwig piccolo drum was purchased in 1982 and is still in fair condition. Used only sparingly, its functional range is A-C and comes with a clear-based Renaissance head. The bowl and pedal mechanism need a modicum of work.
For further information, contact Chip Dance, Utah Symphony Director of Production.
