It was introduced by Neumann in 1960 with the intention of replacing the U 47 in Neumann’s product line. The Neumann U 67 has become one of the most desirable vintage microphone among professionals in the industry. Personally tested here at Tone House Studios, this microphone was incredible on an array of instruments especially vocals, electric and acoustic guitars as well as all stringed instruments, pianos, hi- hat, tom-toms, overheads, room and more.This vintage Neumann U67 is a rare condenser which was produced between 1960 and 1970. Small cosmetic blemishes on the microphone such as small fraying on the wiring in the upper right corner on the face of the microphone. The power supply turns on and operates with no problems.
