Purchased in Toledo, Spain in 1977.
Authentic hand forged Spanish Toledo Swords are 39.5 " and 41" long, made of high tempered Carbon steel. Both swords are engraved with an intricate design and the name "TOLEDO". One has "Gran Capitan" engraved on it as well. They are considered "fully functional", which means, if honed, they would be as battle ready as the original swords. EXCELLENT CONDITION!!
The carved wooden plaque has a Spanish coat of arms with two castles and two lions. Very heavy, solid wood. No splits or chips. Also in excellent condition!
The swords sell for $75 - $85 apiece. Asking $129.00 for the set. OBO
