Oil Fired Boiler and Burner Pair, each, Good to Excellent working condition - $1500

Replaced
this/my-working oil heating system w/Gas fired high efficiency Heating
Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) system combo ($12,000, my cost) also
w/50 gal. Gas Hot Water tank. ($2,200, my cost)
This good to excellent, used Weil McLain oil fired Steam Boiler and Hot
Water leg included. Oil tank is not available, no way to remove except in
cut sections/scrap.
RIELLO, Mectron 5M oil fired burner, Firing Rates: 0.50 to 6.40 GPH,
available/deal ($150.00 if separately or included/deal).
This steam boiler was installed about time house was jacked up for plumbing
and heating upgrades and placed/foundation about 1984.
I have all the original Brochures (main 1 shown below, too many to post
pics of here) for Burner, Boiler combo and ITT McDonnell & Miller low
water cutoff valve etc.
Specs: Net Load range, HOT WATER: 94,800 to 205,200 BTU/Hr.
Steam: 340 to 740 sq. ft.
I had replaced valves and parts right up to point I took it out of
service. I was going to scrap it but reconsidered as I felt it was operating very
well and could be a good way to replace a boiler with problems or new install.
I have no issue with you or your technician to check boiler/burner over.
I have the large main manifold piping removed from the steam header and
negotiate with me for some of smaller radiators in the deal if you like. Most likely give them to you.
It was for 1st floor apt. of the house (24'x40') as 2nd floor apt. had/has
Gas on Gas stove. Asbestos remediation/prior sale made this system very
inefficient to operate. Fiberglass pipe insulation will bring it back to life.
No guarantee/implied warranty with this used burner & or boiler pair,
together/separately. It is quite simply; very good working used equipment at
best.
Investigation yielded a 6.5K to 9.2K new boiler only, replacement CO$T
estimates.
I seek local CA$H sale in person and directly in my HAND, Benjamin’s only,
about ½ $$$ upon inspection with P&S agreement, last ½ of $$$ on pickup.
My 1,000 lb limit winch will get this 300-400 lb boiler to top of my
cellar stairs to load directly onto your truck or local carrier.
