Replace Worry with Prayer!

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) instructs believers not to be
anxious, but to replace worry with prayer, petition, and thanksgiving in every
situation. By presenting requests to God, a, transcendent peace that surpasses
human understanding will guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

· Verse 6: "Do
not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God".

· Verse 7: "And
the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus".

Two Prayers that are very well Known!

Our Father Prayer

When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, he taught them the Our
Father. This prayer is also commonly known as The Lord’s Prayer, and it’s one
of the most well-known and widely used prayers in the world!
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy
will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and
forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Hail Mary

The Hail
Mary prayer is a powerful intercessory prayer to Mary, the mother of Jesus. The
majority of the Hail Mary is taken from the Gospel of Luke!
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with
thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our
death. Amen.
