Little storey if you have time…I am the second owner. Back

in 2008 a gentleman wanted to get back into biking and purchased this new bike

for his 60th birthday.

Two years and 2,200 miles later I bought it for my 60th

birthday and added all the accessories. Well, I am nudging 80 and several of my

little voices are telling me that I have had a great 50 years on scooters and it’s

time to hang up the helmet.

Quite honestly Stratoliner is a pretty amazing machine. Over

the years I’ve had several models from each of BMW, Harley, Honda and Yamaha.

From the moment I sat on a used Strato at Paradise Harley I suspected it was a

great bike. It is predictable and has excellent road manners. All the chrome

doesn’t hurt either. The Vulcan 900 you see with it is more nimble at low speed

around town. The bikes have never been down while moving. Examples are walking

it thru a turn and stepping in a patch of moss or oil.

The bike has always been garaged and on a trickle charger.

I included my wife’s Vulcan in some of the pix, it is for sale as well. I outfitted the Vulcan to, as much as possible, to be 2/3 rds the size and 650 # twin to the Strato. But she had other ideas and wanted to go back to a Vespa. Anyone who might want a matched set of “His & Hers” should look at my ad under Vulcan.

If added accessories replaced a stock part, I have the originals, and they go with the bike.
