Job Description Title: Administrative and Technical Support Location: Wright Patterson AFB, OH SR# 2015-0142 RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB PURPOSE: This effort includes tasks and activities to be performed by the contractor in support of USAFSAM/FE, Aerospace Medicine Department. The contractor will provide services, administrative support, and assistance in areas required to meet the stated objectives and to accomplish the work required. The requirements are for aeromedical education & training, clinical optometry and vision research support, and consultation in direct support of USAF, DoD, and in operational settings. Specific duties include: Provide administrative and technical support to the Chair and Deputy Chair for the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM/FE.) Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will coordinate all unit travel TDY paperwork, train in areas of software technical expertise and assist staff in transmittal of day to day data and information.Perform administrative activities to include answering telephones, correcting grammar, spelling and syntax, prepare, review and edit written correspondence and the maintenance and updating of files and records. Demonstrate extensive organizational skills and the ability to work independently.Serve as the initial focal point Functional Area Record Manager (FARM) and will possess extensive knowledge of public disclosure laws. They shall also train in areas of technical expertise as the FARM.Serve as the initial focal point Share Point manager and technical expert and have the knowledge and ability to build and maintain a Share Point site for the unit. Additionally, they will provide training in areas of technical expertise as the Share Point manager.Serve as the initial focal point Livelink knowledge manager. Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to build and maintain the Livelink site for the unit and provide training in areas of technical expertise as the Livelink knowledge manager.Assist in documentation of financial management and manpower issues. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in; office automation and administrative support; managing large amounts of data in support of a government program; providing support to program and technical staff and in data entry, data retrieval and database management.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office softwareAdvanced typing skillsAdvanced Excel functions, Adobe live cycle, Adobe Acrobat 10 X, and Advanced document management tools (i.e. SharePoint) required CLEARANCE:United States CitizenNational Agency Check with written Inquires (NACI)/SF85 Join the excitement!
